Our event of which included a brunch reception and memorial service for my mother, was held at The Lodge at Santa Fe. Please know that from my initial contact with Andrea Murphy to the closing of the event, all was handled in the most gracious, professional, compassionate, and totally competent manner than I have ever engaged in here in my native Santa Fe. The room was set up perfectly. The food was elegantly displayed and delicious. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. Everyone attending has commented on how lovely and charming the event was. I want to thank Andrea for her perfectionism and her total attention to our needs.

Lastly, I wanted to put in a word about the Lodge at Santa Fe: what a great place to stay. Even though I had a room that required going upstairs to get to the lobby it was very workable. The facility was lovely, rooms quiet, location easy to get to, etc. and again, the staff were top drawer. They helped me get things back to my room, up to my classroom, you name it. When I left they gave me a CD of all of the music they had been playing in the hotel! What a welcome treat that was for the drive back to ABQ! It's a wonderful collection of music to boot and I just love it. This really made being away from home a MUCH nicer experience for me though I missed being in the center of all of the action as much - not a bad thing REALLY!
